1966 - 68: Reverend Gene DeGraff was called to pastor the work  
1967: Mortgage incurred in 1955 was burned. The Sanctuary was refurbished with new floor tile,  
carpeting, and paint in the interior. A new piano was purchased for the church  
  1968 - 97: Reverend Thomas Black was called to pastor the work  
                                             
1969: Crossed the "75 Barrier" in average attendance for the year
                                             
  1970: Olson Builders and church laity remodeled the old sanctuary  
                                             
  1972: Purchased and remodeled the store at 4215 South Park into a parsonage. Crossed the "100 Barrier" in  
  average attendance New Hammond organ was donated to the church by Mr. William J. Woods  
                                             
  1973: In January, a bus was rented from the Orchard Park Wesleyan Church and we began again to reach out  
  through our bus ministry  
                                             
  1974: Purchased the William Kuhnle property at 4171 Fairview for a parsonage. Crossed the"200 Barrier"  in  
  average attendance for the year. Ground breaking ceremony for the new sanctuary  
1976: Reverend Harold Blew was hired to serve in our children's ministry. October 10, dedicated the New
seven hundred seat sanctuary.
1977: Crossed the "300 Barrier" in average attendance for the year. Began a ministry to the senior citizens
from the two new senior citizen complexes built in our area
1978: Purchased the property at 4183 Fairview
                                             
  1980: Burned the mortgage on the South Park Building and a Bond Issue in January. Reverend William   
  McConnell was hired to serve as youth pastor. Burned the mortgage for the 4183 Fairview property in January.  
                                             
  1981: Burned the mortgage for the 4183 Fairview property in January purchased the property west of the  
  church from Sixtus Roorda.  
                                             
  1982: Began Big Tree Wesleyan Nursery School in January, burned the mortgage on the Roorda property  
  purchased in 1981  
                                             
 

1983:Broke ground in June for new Education Unit-1984: Completed and Dedicated New Ed. Unit.
