During Chris Sumpter's freshman year in college, he prayed for God to reveal His will for his life. He felt the clear impression of the word "missions" over and over. In high school Tiffany (Menefee) Sumpter drew closer to God and felt a call to full-time ministry.

Chris earned a B.A. in religion from MidAmerica Nazarene, graduating with highest honors. Later, he graduated with highest honors from Nazarene Theological Seminary with an M.A. in missiology. Tiffany graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene with a B.A. in music.

Upon concluding their intern missionary ministry in the Philippines, Chris and Tiffany were appointed to career missionary service in Mongolia. It is their desire to equip believers in Mongolia so they can more effectively evangelize and disciple people in their country and to instill in believers the desire to take the gospel to other cultures. Chris and Tiffany have one son: Elijah 8/31/04.

But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. . . . I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ--the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith (Philippians 3:7-9 NIV).
